Sunshine Heals provides a variety of facials, such as Hydrafacial, Procell Microchanneling, Dermaplane, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and organic facials. We also offer relaxing therapies, including an infrared sauna, in a tranquil setting.
Andrea, affectionately known as Sunshine, is a licensed aesthetician from a lineage of matriarchal healers, who have been using medicine, plants, and therapeutic touch to heal for decades.
Andrea uses the knowledge gained from years of training, study, and research to reveal every client’s inherent beauty. At nineteen, she began her education journey by attending Clayton College of Natural Medicine, while interning at the medicinal plant farm Reevis Mountain School in Roosevelt, Arizona. Andrea graduated with a Bachelor’s in Agriculture focusing on Plant and Soil Sciences in 2005 from Tennessee Technological University, then earned her Master’s in Biology with an emphasis in Environmental Sciences in 2016 from Miami University. She studied botanical skincare formulation at the Institute for Aromatic Studies in Manhattan, New York, and received her Ayurvedic Health Counseling Certification in 2018 from The Shakti School in Charlottesville, Virginia. She learned trauma informed Ayurvedic body therapies at Madhya Way School of Ayurvedic Studies in Lakeland, Colorado, in 2023. She regularly attends Skin Care Industry Conferences to keep up the latest developments in the business. Andrea is a MasterLevel Hydrafacialist, and attends in-person and online training events with Dermaplane, Black Coral Waxing, Hydrafacial, Procell, Jan Marini Skin Research, and Dr. Alkaitis Organic Skin Care. She is also a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals.
Andrea has traveled the world studying ecology, beauty, and health, from Buddhist Wats in the jungles of Thailand to Carnival in Brazil’s crowded and fashion-forward streets. She brings her knowledge, skill, and passion home to Tennessee.
